The New Direction Ministries Inc. presents, “The Pantry” a hunger relief ministry. Striving to ‘Give Back To The Community’ of Junction City, AR and LA.
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization Est. 2008.
We exist to Strengthen the morale of our community and to set minds at peace about hunger (worries of their next meal).
To relieve low and no income families of the stress of not having a well balanced meal.
To aid in the relief of hunger as well as educate about other relief programs that are available.
Our goal is provide at least 60 families with food to supplement weekly. To provide one balanced meal to Children after school and during the summer.
We respect the dignity of every person and treat all with justice, equity and compassion. We honor the lives, concerns and stories of people in need.
We keep faith with the public trust through the efficient and compassionate use of resources entrusted to us and are mindful that our mission is accomplished through the generosity of others. We maintain and communicate accurate and timely information on hunger research, education, advocacy and service.
We evaluate and account regularly for how resources are used to implement and achieve our mission.
